I'm hoping that, as every room is currently heated, the large volume of heated air, compared to the, relatively low external surface area of the house will mean only moderate heat loss.

But I cannot guarantee it.

I'm now on £2.07 for the day, with just 2.5 hours left.

That means I'm on target to have spent £2.31 on gas for the 24 hour spell.

When I tried the same experiment, last Christmas, it cost me £4 per day. But, that time, I had the radiator valves open on full, instead of limiting them to 19 degrees. Also, I set the hallway thermostat to 18 degrees. This year, I set it at 17 degrees, as that has previously proven more than enough to heat the hallway to 19 degrees.

Probably should have waited for it to settle before taking readings.

Heating on in all the rooms, overnight. Gas used so far today = £0.73. That equates to £1.88 for 24 hours.

This time yesterday, I'd spent £1.12.

That's the difference between heating the rooms up from scratch and keeping them warm when they'd already been heated for 24 hours.

I've now had to open my air vents because the humidity's over 60% throughout the house. I don't know how seriously this will affect gas usage.
