The internet is insufficiently entertaining
Back in the day I could get at least 3 hours' solid entertainment out of an evening on the internet. 5 or 6 hours if I was dr*nk and rounded the evening off with a rampage round Secondlife.
Now I can't even rely on getting a single hour. The last few days I've had to keep going downstairs and watching DVDs while fresh internet content is generated.

It's definitely not as exciting as it used to be. The man who owns the Internet needs to pull his finger out.

If he's not careful, everyone'll go back to playing with hula hoops.

That gives me an idea for a thread.

Yeah, s*d the internet. From now on I'm going to spend every evening hula hooping, while shouting my opinions about Doctor Who and Br*xit and what I've just eaten.

The internet is indeed rubbish nowadays.
I even find watching videos on LiveLeak of people being shot, stabbed and/or beaten to a pulp tedious now.

I hear you. Even videos of cats on those carpet cleaning thingies leave me cold. I'm reduced to spending my cold winter exploring the world of contemporary Finnish music. This gives me some comfort but I need more.
If Wendis suggestion of hula hooping doesn't work, I don't know what I'll do.

I'm sorry to say that if the internet doesn't smarten up its act then we're all going to have to commit to an ***OFFICIAL Nu-HotW suicide-by-eating pact*** like in La Grande Bouffe, wherein we immolate ourselves by overindulging in haslet, Frisps, party rings, Peek Freans and Pukka Posher leek, chicken and pancetta pies (reduced by £1.21).

We should film it and put it on YouTube.
Thus ironically making the internet more entertaining again.
Re: The internet is insufficiently entertaining
LiveLeak would be more suitable.
As long as we could cope with endless comments about "libtards" and "cautions" and "ratchets" and "butterfaces" and generally nauseating, politically motivated comments underneath.
Oh, yeah, that's Youtube as well.

Re: The internet is insufficiently entertaining
This evening I've had to actually walk away from the computer and read a book.

Of course, I then came back online to tell you I'd done it.

I blame facebook. For everything. But mostly for killing off all the forums, bar this one. We're unkillable.
