Re: The Cheese Board
Apparently that letter isn't from 'Christian Concern' at all.

It would be a bit hypocritical if it was, because CC are well-known for opposing anti-hate-crime laws because they'd supposedly make it harder to evangelise.

Re: The Cheese Board
They want £300? I might start threatening to sue businesses who've pissed me off unless they pay up. Or is blackmail a crime?

Have a heart. Their whole business model relies on being able to spread hatred unchecked. They could instead switch to all that 'love thy neighbour' stuff, but where's the fun in that?
Amy Coney Barrett and the frat boy both seem to be fine about 'bearing false witness' - both did so under oath, to get onto the bench. I thought that was strictly prohibited in Christianity.
It's all a great mystery to me.

Re: The Cheese Board
Matthew 10:16 is their usual insurance clause, 'Therefore be wise as serpents, and harmless as doves'.

Re: The Cheese Board
The Red Leicester ones are the improvement I never knew I needed, but now couldn't be without. Compared to them, the original cheddar ones are tasteless and borderline inedible.

Re: The Cheese Board
I bought some actual Red Leicester today. Organic from Sainsburys.

No, I draw the line at actual Red Leicester. I'm sure it's lovely, but I've never knowingly had it.

I've just had some crackers and Manchego. Fresh from Manchester.
