Tyrannosaurus Rex or Oculudentavis Khaungraae?
Re: Tyrannosaurus Rex - A Beard of Stars (1970)
This is quite boring admittedly.

That was a very boring album, filled with substance-free tracks that all sounded the same.
Now to look back at the thread and see what everybody else made of it.

Well, I dug that.
It wasn't quite the finished article (I think SPT had just quit the band and they were in a slightly 'inbetweeny' space), so a lot of it seemed a bit free-form and jammy.
Still, undeniably original and, naturally charming.

Sounds better with better production. That said I could have listened to the actual LP, if I wasn't so lazy.

A combined ★★★☆☆ seems fair in the long round.

It's alright, but he did much better stuff as a full on Glamster pop-star, a lot of this seemed half formed.
Have you ever heard a Guided By Voices album? lots of short songs that start promising before fading into nothing as there's no song there, and all are completely forgettable to the stage you honestly can't remember if this is the 3rd or 4th song? Well there were a couple like that.
A couple of nice ones though ★★★

We haven't even dared to do a John's Children album yet.
Well, I tried, but couldn't find a playlist on Youtube that was definitive in any way.
