| Playout with Whitney Houston with the Greatest Love of All. Hasn't this been on playout before?! The audience don't know how to dance to it. |

| I'm getting closer to finding out who she is. Is she one of these who features on the Falco 3 album?

| versions with rap only (all vocals by Falco; starts with TR-808 percussion): • The Gold Mix — this is the original LP version • Extended Version (7:02) versions with biography and "baby do you rock me" chorus but no rap: • Canadian Version (4:09) versions with rap and the "baby do you rock me" chorus but no biography: • The American Edit (3:11) — this was the #1 hit version in the UK and USA • The American Edit / Extended American Edit (5:55) versions with biography, rap, and "baby do you rock me" chorus: • The Can-Am Mix / Canadian-American '86 Mix (4:04) • Salieri Mix (8:21) — this is the international LP version Durations vary on some releases, sometimes because it is just printed wrong, sometimes because the master tapes are playing at different speeds. I don't think the Baby do you Rock me bit is on Falco 3, I can't see a credits list for the American mix, which she is on. I think. |

| I asked about. - some random on the internet wrote:
It's very unlikely to be her singing. When he was doing TV promos for it's European release in 1985 he had a different female keyboard player in his backing band (and ex-Supermax and Tokyo bassist Ken Taylor), and for subsequent 1986 appearances he has a male keyboard player, so it looks like she was hired in for this one appearance (it doesn't appear to be his then-girlfriend Isabella Vitkovic either)
The original 12" Gold Mix (which was edited down for the original GiG Records German 7" and LP release of Falco's '3' ) and the Salieri-version 12" remix (where the English backing vocals were added, made at the behest of his US/UK label A&M and used on the UK and US issues of the album), were recorded and produced in Holland by Ferdi & Rob Bolland (who co-wrote and produced most of 3 as well as The Quo's In The Army Now).
The English female backing vocals were provided by a Dutch session singer (as were the male backing vocals, as Falco refused to sing in English and hated the song from the start). For the US single release, A&M commissioned Powermix Productions (LA- based Boris Granich & Christer Modig) to produce the American and Canadian mixes using elements from the Gold Mix and Salieri-version. The version on the UK 7" and featured on TOTP is 7" edit of the American mix.

| It was certainly in the version I taped off the Top 40 at the time. _________________ ' "Haven't got houses." Where do they live then?'

| I dug out and listened to my 7" of Rock Me Amadeus earlier and it is indeed labelled on the... label... as "The American Edit" and features the legendary female vocals as expected. |
