Posts : Karma : Join date : Red post boxes in Scotland don't have "ER" (or whichever respective monarch) embossed on them, but a St. Andrews crest thingy instead. And such is the feeling towards this, a trialled post box with ER printed on it in Edinburgh in the 1950s to celebrate the crowning of Elizabeth II had to be destroyed by being literally blown up.

Or does it still use copper wiring, but it goes to digital? I don't know. It's been put back to 2027 apparently.
