It's chucking it down again.

Beautiful sunny morning here with all the birds singing.

It was chucking it down all last night. It has finally stopped but is clearly going to start again before too long.

Sunny, a bit breezy and cool.

Yes. Acceptable, if nothing to write home about. In between internet and paperwork, I tidied some topiary on the terrace.

My mother gifted me a spare chainsaw, a small one. She’s bought a more powerful one. She goes through them like hot dinners.

She was in hospital last month, after some drunken impulse chainsawing went wrong. Thankfully it was only from toppling backwards rather than anything to do with the blade. Her arm is quite badly bruised from it.

So she didn’t actually gift it, I took it for her own good. And she’s bought a replacement - she can’t stop. Several neighbours in her vicinity have been complaining. She’s been at their gardens in the middle of the night.

Oh. I be,Ive’ve it is actually a hedge trimmer. I’ve just Google imaged ‘hedge trimmer’ and it matches one of those. I didn’t realise they were different from chainsaws.
