It did plenty of things but, for the most part, there was no reason to do those things.

I dunno what to say, it was better than Lazaretto, but then I quite like that one the first time I heard it. That said, I'd find it hard to believe you could make a (non-ironic) rock album in [PRESENT YEAR] so dead is that art form.
His newer album is very much Led Zeppelin III to this's II.
