Having scored a critical smash from out of nowhere in 2018 with her debut ‘Uzun Havalar’, Turkish artist Gözen Atila (a.k.a. Anadol) releases a follow-up that repeats the brilliance. ‘Felicita’ melds her field recordings and synth soundscapes with the music of a group of Istanbul-based session musicians, giving rise to a blend of ambient, Anatolian psych and jazz that sounds like it could have come from the Nurse With Wound list.
