Marlon Brando in The Godfather is beyond belief.

His performance is a complete joke.

Other actors and comedians have tried over the years to parody it, but it's so preposterous and silly there's literally no point.

Once you know he stuffed cotton wool in the bottom of his cheeks to make his face look more jowly and fat it's impossible not to notice.

I tried watching Apocalypse Now the other day, I think it was the Final Assembly Directors cut, it seemed to go for ever, scenes just seem to drag on for hours. I mean in terms of the plot what was the point of the Actor can't take his ale scene in the hotel? He's supposed to be a professional, an innocent tainted by the war, dosn't work if you have a scene like that.

Gave up before I got to Brando.

That explains a joke about him and tissues I heard in a radio 4 comedy in 1987 and didn't get.
