I was in Poundland on Saturday looking through the CDs, kneeling down looking at a lower shelf, and occasionally someone would walk past or look at the items on the shelves next to me and I'd just try and ignore them. Then one person standing just behind me p*ssed w*nd quite loudly, the shock of which kind of put me off what I was doing briefly, but then I tried to carry on.

Then the sm*ll came.

But of course by then they'd walked off. I got up and looked to see who it was and it was a man in probably his mid 50s. I was disgusted and rather angry. And then other people walked into my area and I just hoped they didn't think any lingering sm*ll was me.

I haven't shared this information with anyone else.

A few weeks ago the person I share an office with decided unilaterally that they'd known me long enough to br**k w*nd in my presence.

I soon disabused them of that notion

I'm very much of the when it comes to such things, and look down on anyone who performs such a..... tr*mp.

Don't get me wrong, I love a good p*mp myself, but like lots of other things I enjoy doing, I don't do it in front of other people.

It happened again earlier today, only this time in a charity shop. I was looking though the CDs as per usual, and there was a man doing the same next to me and another man somewhere behind me looking at something else. Then came the sound of a tr*mp, not very loud this time, but definitely noticeable. Due to its more m*ffled sound, I presumed it was the man behind me, and hoped the man next to me didn't think it was me who had d*ne it.

Then came the smell.

I then realised the man behind me had actually long gone, so then presumed the f*rt WAS de*lt by the man standing next to me after all! Or perhaps it had indeed been the man behind me who had dr*pped *ne, then scarpered.

My office mate has started f*rting again, so I've taken to pointedly leaving the room whenever he does.
