This track just seems to exist for the sake of existing.

It's like they're trying to do Morse Moose and the Grey Goose but don't know how to do it.

"The Musical box" is about two Victorian children, Cynthia and Henry, Cynthia chops Henry's head off with a croquet mallet (in the cover painting) later she finds his musical box and open opening it upon which Henry returns in spirit form ("play me my song") and ages very quickly whereupon his lifetimes sexual desires manifest, he demands sexual intercourse with Cynthia ( "brush back your hair and let me get to know your flesh" and "Why don't you touch me, touch me now, NOW"!), the nurse appears (in the cover painting) and throws the musical box at the spirit of Henry finally ending him and destroying the musical box as well. Hence the album's title " A Nursery Cryme".
