Those who don’t like it will find normal miserable service resuming soon enough.

It’s been perfect from my point of view. Some of us are in physical pain when it’s colder.

Let’s not wish the present away. It’s not been a great summer with long spells of anything.

Arguably quite long spells of rain, which in my not entirely waterproof flat has been no fun.

I’d compromise happily and trade yesterday for a month of consistently sunny and dry 25/26/27c, but I can’t, so when it’s 18c and chucking it down again, I’ve had to suffer along with everyone who loves that.

Yesterday evening a cool breeze began to blow. I opened the window and let the room fill with delicious cold air.

It's been raining overnight. Everything is damp now.
