From what I understand, the lyrics refer to a "Josie", who embodies, in the singer's mind, everything that was gr8 and wild and crazy when he was young, but who, in reality, never really existed.

It is over.
It was very accomplished in every department but I can't help wishing they'd do a remix of their albums with all Jazz elements removed.
Now to look back at the thread an see what everybody else made of it.
