| Who'd've thought Greta would release something on an actual physical, plastic, and therefore polluting format. |

| I'd buy it if I saw it for 10p in a charity shop. |

| But records are like things like Lego insofar that they don't tend to get chucked into the bin and then onto landfill. It's probably made of seaweed anyway. _________________ Ibble obble black bobble, ibble obble out!

It's probably made of seaweed anyway. But even Lego have recently announced that they're trying (and I seem to remember struggling) to find a more eco-friendly-yet-equally-durable material. Plastic does still have its uses for non-single use items and when used (and recycled) correctly - food packaging for one thing, leading to longer-fresher food and less food waste. Who'd have thought a thread about LPs would turn into an eco thread? |

| If it persuades people to produce less waste, then it's justified, as a kind of environmental investment. _________________ ' "Haven't got houses." Where do they live then?'

| A bit like Annie Lennox flying in from her third home in Swaziland to tell people not to fly for their first holiday in 5 years. Anyway. Predicted best-selling vinyl albums for 2020 (Based on YTD Official Charts data) Fleetwood Mac – Rumours Oasis – (What’s The Story) Morning Glory? Amy Winehouse – Back To Black Nirvana – Nevermind Harry Styles – Fine Line Kylie Minogue – Disco AC/DC – Power Up Queen – Greatest Hits IDLES – Ultra Mono Arctic Monkeys – Live At The Royal Albert Hall The Cassette one was better. |

| If she persuades a million people to skip one flight each that's way more flights than she could possibly take in a lifetime.

I think it's still at last mild hypocrisy. Imagine if Jimmy Savile had pleaded with a million child abusers to not abuse that one child today, despite doing these things himself. Would he have still kept his knighthood for saving the lives of one million other children? I'm not directly comparing Ms. Lennox with a child abuser by the way, and I do otherwise love her. Wasn't it Emma Thompson anyway? |

| I guess we assign different weights to the questions 'Is it important to reduce CO2 emissions?' and 'Is Annie Lennox a hypocrite or not?'. _________________ ' "Haven't got houses." Where do they live then?'
