Yes, he can sing a bit flat when hitting the high notes, but I think it kind of adds to his funkiness and charm.

I haven't recognised anything from the last two episodes. Though thinking back, there did seem to be a hiatus in my chart interest in early 1987 when I realised there were other places to get music than taping it off the Top 40.

I made 6 'Good Top 40 singles' tapes and each one had 16 songs on it, 8 per side (C60). But look at the dates I completed each one:

1 - Jun 15 1986
2 - Aug 3 1986
3 - either the 5th, 12th or 19th of Oct 1986, can't be sure now
4 - Dec 14 1986
5 - Feb 8 1987
6 - Jul 5 1987

I was clearly getting bored of chart music by the time tape 6 was being compiled. I think we're currently in the boredom gap yes
