That was an uninvolving episode with no highlights.
Now to look back at the thread and see what everyone else made of it.

I think they were experimenting with stereo on that episode.
Not that anyone had a stereo telly in 1987, not for my sort anyway.

Another blank sheet for me, continuing the confirmation of my hiatus theory.
This was used in the big dance-off in Isn't It Romantic which I was watching on Netflix yesterday. I may not have taped it at the time but I did hear it on my futuristic television 32 years later.
Speaking of futuristic televisions:
We didn't have a NICAM Stereo telly till 1992. It had teletext too! I can see now it must have been bought out of the proceeds of the constructive dismissal/very early retirement action my dad successfully fought against his employer

Is it by Jam and Lewis?
I don't actually know and Wikipedia doesn't mention who produced it. Although...
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Donna_AllenThe UK dance act Strike used her chorus hook line from "Serious", as the basis for their club hit, "U Sure Do" released in 1994.

Did I see Glenn Hoddle amongst them? That'd mean he was featured on two songs in the current Top 40!

We had our first Nicam Stereo digital audio telly in 1990.
I think it was the first TV my parents actually bought rather than rented from Radio Rentals.

We had Teletext on our previous TV which was acquired in January 1986, I believe.

Goodness, we didn't even have a video till about October 1986, and even then it was one of those Amstr*d televideo things which could only tape the channel you were watching.

I'm in!
Gary Davis with his head at that funny angle.
Is there something wrong with him? Well, other than the obvious.

Erasure with some harmless fluff, forgettable. But I don't think he played that on an acoustic guitar.
