It was fine and hot today, but tolerable.

Re: The Weather Thread Part 2.
A hot sunny day today. When my Sainsburys delivery came, the driver said all his remaining calls today were in Clacton and Frinton, and he didn't know whether to be pleased because he'd be at the seaside, or annoyed because the traffic would be awful.

Woah!
I've just been into the garden and it is blazing hot.
Quite nice a cool in this house though.
Thank goodness.
It's hotter at home though.
Walthamstow - 29°
St. Johns Wood - 30°

It's already warming up here. I suspect it'll be another scorcher
Luckily, yesterday I bought some potato salad and cold delicacies for today's lunch.

Overcast. Drab.
That's it, I'm buying a gas-guzzling SUV, it's the only way to get good weather on a bank holiday.

Unbroken blue skies, really unforgivingly hot sun.
33 °C.

Sun's coming out. I'm going to move my car and nip now the shops while working on tannage.

On the ground floor this house is quite cool, but as you ascend it gets hotter and hotter and hotter as you reach every landing or floor.
If you dare scale the dizzy heights of the attic painting studio/garret...

Absolutely gorgeous. Been out since this morning, covered in a beautifully fragrant mix of Guerlain's Terracotta Huile du Voyageur and Hei Poa's Coco oil. Radio 2 and 20 Marlboro lights.
Come in just now to have a nectarine and put a t shirt on for the arrival of a friend. Maybe some Nivea after sun.

God, what a depressing thought. I've been deliberately staying away from weather forecasts because I don't want my mood shattered. The only downside to this is that I hate the harshness of waterproof eyeliner and kohl smudges off in the heat, so I'm having to reapply quite frequently.

It's only knowing the weather's going to get cooler that keeps me going through heatwaves.

My house used to be like that, as you walked up the stairs your head would suddenly break through into the superheated layer.
But I now place a fan at the bottom of the stairs, which mixes the layers beautifully.
