It was proper dark at 5am when I got up today. And the temperature overnight was only 9 C.

Yes, I went to bed the other morning night at about 5:00am and did note that it was still pitch black outside. sad yes

Also, I automatically did that thing where I wrap my duvet around me when perched in front of the 'puter. freezing

He's home. Baby's all tucked up in bed after a takeaway - enviable tan. Tomorrow will largely be given over to buying him things for going back to school. That's definitely the end of summer.
