I honestly don't mean to sound churlish or offensive but I'm not sure I can listen to this much more.
This is just an awful Jimmy Cliff/Melodians-have-a-go in the garage effort now.

The Wheels on the Bus.
An indulgence that the album didn't need.
No hang on, it's gone good!

I can see Emily at that gig in New York, all set to flip her wig and let her post-baby b**bers hang out to some RAWK, only to gawp at this kind of mugging bullcrap in disbelief.
Yeah, cause, Richman's still doing this stuff, 40 years later.

It is over.
Despite its archness, I found it enjoyable, thanks to its lightness and the limited demands it put upon me.
Now to look back at the thread and see what everyone else made of it.

That's dope.
I'm sure De La Soul used that clickety click sound on their 2nd LP.

I liked that one, Dunno If I'd want to listen to that much again. But it's getting ★★★★.
Just checking out the first album, it's not the Punk Rock classic I've heard it described it as.

Tap into the lo-fi amateur college student vibe and sell records.
I didn't get that at all. At least not on this record.

What are his/their records like before this?
Like this one, with the guitars plugged in.
From the bits I've heard I think it's slightly better, but not that dissimilar.
