The Carly Rae Jepson video makes no sense - if she's talking about the gardener, surely they already know each other's numbers from when she booked the appointment.

That is a great belt. I thought her version of Gloria was perfect in 'The Assassination of Gianni Versace' - Miami, 620 miles, and the scene of speeding over the ocean to the villa as evil arrived in Miami Beach was suitably epic.

No, it's a boy next door working on his car engine.
He's got his earbuds in and doesn't notice when Carly keeps trying to get his attention (prompted by her fake-hipster bandmates).
There's a weird bit with CRJ unconscious and kissing an imaginary next-door neighbour while laying on the floor and the hunky guy waking her up, but then the video of course ends with a classic stinger-twist.
