That was one of the stupidest albums I've ever heard. Overblown, ludicrous, fatuous and adolescent. Total drivel on every level... and yet almost hypnotically fascinating.

I liked it. It was a lot more 'experimental' than I remember it.

Toyah has always seemed like a pr*t to me.

As annoying as her character in Quadrophenia.

A bad actor and a chancer as a musician.

She's also been, for no adequate reason I can discern, a quite vocal and conspicuous figure in British culture for many many years despite never really having ever done anything of any great note.

She's someone who imparts a vague sense of embarrassment to everyone who experiences her on any level.

I saw her in a perspex box once.

She made me feel faintly guilty for being alive just because of her stupid hair and because she was in a perspex box. sad yes
