Re: The magnificent Doctor Who thread
I have just watched Part Two.The Call of the Wendigo wrote:I watched the first episode of Ambassadors of Death, last night.
What a weird episode.
It was like Doctor Who made by people who'd been told about the show but had never actually seen it.
It was all conducted at an almost laughably leisurely pace and then a gunfight broke out and then it went back to being leisurely.

And it's also a blatant rip-off of Quatermass.

The one with the astronaut who comes back to Earth and turns into a bubbling mass of gloopy horror.

I have now watched Part 6.
I'm sure they could have done it as a 4-parter.

I watched The Ribos Operation while sitting on the legs spinning machine, it's a bit daft isn't it?
Almost like it's a kids show or something.

Is that the one that goes on for about 5 hours and breaks the law of conservation of mass?

Re: The magnificent Doctor Who thread
I don't remember him breaking it but then I don't know what that is.
This is the one where he's trapped alone in a castle that's constantly re-setting itself.

I only watched 3 Capbadi episodes, the train one with Frank Skinner, this one and his last one.
Apparently the first 2 were his best ones.
The last one was offensively bad.
