It's not the worst.

But the worst (from Christmas a few years ago), was so bad that the idea that my back would go that badly again is genuinely scary.

Ultimately though, it's not gr8.

Painkillers and an hot water bottle strapped to my back seem to be keeping the agonising twinges just about in check.

Still, it's affy painful, and as with these things, there's a doomy air that it might suddenly go all worse suddenly again. sad yes
