It was very pleasant and classy but it was getting pretty boring by the end.

Now to look back at the thread and see what everybody else made of it.

I shall give it 3 stars.

It meandered about a bit.

It was samey and hammily gamey at times...

...but I loved it.

Also, I have my dear old Mother to thank for my knowledge and appreciation of artists like (the generally overlooked) legends of R&B and soul like BB.

For me, artists like Brook Benton, are like Otis Redding, the Coasters or even the Ink Spots insofar that once you start listening to their songs you can't stop.

My Mum would smash my face in for referring to her as "dear" and "old" BTW.

Also, who else suggests music like this for commentaries if but-not for me?

I deserve at least ★★★★★s for my efforts alone.
