As all the bass guitar lines, were played on a fretless, not that it was only fretless bass, no drums, guitar

While driving on the A66 yesterday I learnt something from a radio programme which made me think 'I'll put that in the Breaking Learning thread when I arrive'.

But I've forgotten what it was.

If you went searching for the source of the River Humber you'd be disappointed. The Humber is just the wide bit nearest the sea, as soon as you get inland it divides into the River Ouse and the River Trent.

I have seen both the Ouse and the Trent.

I've seen the Trent, because the A1(M) crosses it. On the western side of the bridge, you can see riverside signs telling the boats where to go.



I have not seen the Ouse because, by the time it gets to the A1(M), it's called the Ure.

I did cross the Aire & Calder Navigation on Saturday, just 4.5 miles upstream of where it debouches into the Ouse.
