Re: The waiting in thread
I've just called DHL and they said the driver's GPS sent him to another part of London.

Now I'm waiting for the man (or woman) to come and put up the For Sale board.

Re: The waiting in thread
The shoes seem fine (and look good), but I have still given Footlocker and DHL withering feedbacks.

£98.82.
You can get them on Ali Express for £2.

I've just taken delivery of a pair.
Admittedly, I didn't pay £98.82 for them.
I paid £6.
Upon first use, even though they're clearly hastily built, they're actually quite pleasing. The field of view is tiny and there's plenty of distortion around the edges of the lenses but there's no colour fringing, the image is light enough and the centre of the view is perfectly sharp.
Despite their claim to be 30x60 binoculars, they're actually 8x25. I knew that before I bought them.
Basically, if you want to sit there for hours, studying the craters of the moon in great detail, they're likely to prove useless but if you just want something tiny to carry around and whip out to take a quick look at stuff, they're adequate. It really is amazing what you can get for £6.
This is my review.

I had to wait in for 3 different appointments today - a viewing, the chimney people, and someone from work who's just returned the circular saw I lent him.
And I had a Zoom meeting with my manager this morning as well.

I'm waiting in for two packs of archive boxes, 50 envelope files and some extra-sticky sticky notes.

They're out for delivery.
Usually I would have had a text by now to say when they were coming.

I'm waiting in for a surveyor to do the mortgage valuation for the buyer.
It's really complicated and annoying due to COVID, I've got to open the windows and stay in one room while the survey is being done.
