That was without doubt one of the worst things I've ever heard.

Titles. I first heard this when I was fifteen. As I was a big Beatles fan, I loved that it mentioned lots of Beatles songs.

Now I just think it's lazy, stupid and pointless.

Anyway, "In My Life", these sounds like a few Pink Floyd songs bolted together.

Now we move into the religious material.

He can't reach the high notes.

Track 2. In My Life. The Beatles fixation continuation.

The first few bars remind me of both Layla and that song that Mark Knopfler did about the ghost of Little Nell.

In fairness, they might have been derivative when it comes to the song's title and the Layla bit but ripping off a Mark Knopfler song that wouldn't be written for another 20 years was an achievement.

Also hints of All Along the Watchtower.

Actually I'm getting an endless River feel from this album.

That's not a good thing.

Vocals sound like exactly Kelly Groucutt.

The All Along the Watchtower influence is now blatant.

It really does sound like it's running 5/10% slow.

I've put it on 1.25 speed.

Guitar solo.

Middle section sounds like Lindisfarne.

The Drums still sound Nick Mason after he'd given up.

In fairness, to BJH, they had multiple songwriters who were all equally derivative as each other.
