It's 2.03pm and I've been forced to put the stairwell light on in order to carry boxes up and down the stairs safely.

It's 11.30am and I have once again had to turn the landing light on to enable safe intra-house navigation.

Nine minutes past five, and I've had to turn the lights on.

I turned mine off about 9am, but when I got back from town I had turn them on again, cos it's a dark windy rainy afternoon.

That's 27 minutes later than yesterday.

It's official! The days are getting longer!

Winter is over!

4:17 and I've just put my lights on.

I turned my lights on at 3:55 pm.

I had to switch the lights on just now at 11am exactly.

I had to turn the lights on 18 minutes ago, at 11.10, cos it's a dark rainy Saturday morning here at Fangirl Towers.

It's still broad daylight here.

About 10 minutes after I posted that, the rain stopped and the sun came out. It's a bright cold blowy winter day now.

It's nearly ten o'clock and I've still got the lights on.

I turned the lights on immediately upon arriving home from my parents' about 11am.

It has been dark all day. It was only thanks to a supreme feat of will that I've had them turned off at all today.
