Mike Moran of Lynsey De Paul And Mike Moran "Rock Bottom" Eurovision fame co-wrote "Barcelona" by Freddie Mercury and Montserrat Caballé's and "Snot Rap" by Kenny Everett, as well as the Taggart theme tune "No Mean City", the theme to New Tricks (sung by Dennis Waterman) and the music for the game shows Chain Letters, Lucky Ladders and The Krypton Factor.

At approximately 2:11pm on Saturday 13, July, 1985, Cliff Richard performed his own Live Aid gig (called "A World of Difference") whilst actual Live Aid was going on!
