More stuff in the way though, and a need for armed military escorts through the Gulf - so air freight aside, it's going to be vastly more expensive and potentially weeks more time consuming to ship tonnes of goods from China to the UK than to New Zealand.
We can safely file that in the same pile as all the rest of his useless claims with zero real life application.
Don't get me started on the potential for 'cheap Vietnamese shoes' that the 'Nightmare of a Victorian Child' has gone on about. As my grandfather always rightly said, never trust a man in cheap shoes.
I do expect more from a PM than the odd factoid for pub quiz nights. One thing we can definitely call a fact is that it absolutely won't be Boris who's eating frozen fish that's been imported from a wholesale 'seafood market' after a radioactive life spent swimming in the vicinity of Fukushima.
