I have never heard this before in my entire life.

The Bangles really are one of those bands where everyone remembers/knows their biggest three songs but none of their other handful of hits - they DID have several other Top 40 entries.

I also wouldn't really recommend those other songs either. Their greatest hits is more like a studio album - containing three big singles plus the rest as filler.
