Re: Olden day good times!
It seems the version of the T-Rex I remember as a child is far bigger and scarier than the new version there today.

My version has bigger teeth for a start.
And stands upright like all T-Rexes always did until about 15 years ago.

The old one looks like it's laughing at itself.

Elephants being taken for their daily walk from the local circus in Billesley, Birmingham in the 1960s. Not sure sure this would be done today, but I bet it was a thrilling sight.

Oh that's good. All it would take to make it even more retro is if it was a Happy Eater or other chain that no longer exists!
....Actually, now that I think of it, do Little Chef exist anymore?

Little Chef was a chain of restaurants in the United Kingdom

On 12th June 1987 me and my mate Simon were heading down to the old Wembley Stadium [to see U2] in my newly acquired Austin Allegro! I’d only passed my driving test on 21st May that year and this was my first car, purchased just a week before the gig. Believe me when I say it – driving from Nottingham to London, first time on a motorway and on a red hot Friday in the capital – this was one serious life event!
