There’s a story Paul McCartney met Billy Preston and Billy asked him to listen to a song he’d wrote called “old friend “ and Paul became emotional, billy asked Linda later if Paul was ok and why was he upset, Linda replied “ you wouldn’t know , no one does , but the last time John saw Paul, as he waved him off John said “ “well old friend think of me now and again “.. those were the last words Paul heard John say."

What a lovely tune.

This is one of my faves. It should have been a single.

This should've just been an acoustic number.

It doesn't sound like he's singing, "BD."

His vocals on this are great.
