I've not heard Ten Man Mop, or Mr. Reservoir Butler Rides Again (1971), but SS stuff from before 71 wasn't like this. Only the later stuff was.

The folk scene predated psych' and was notoriously militant and die-hard.

Bands like Trees and Fairport and Steeleye and ISB wouldn't have really happened without that scene.

I'd say that the '65-'67 "Summer of Love" scene changed things a lot.

This band are using electric instruments F*S.
