So it's just Space 1999 and 2005, and I'm done.
I'm just trying to think what I liked in 2005, I think I was still trying to like the latest Post Rock thang, and pretend to myself I hadn't heard it all before and they were all running out of Stream and new ideas by then.Takk... by Sigur Rós, whatever it was Mogwai were doing by then
And the White Stripes.
![dunno](/users/3715/63/33/29/smiles/2944579914.gif)
I can't remember.
Oh, and The Campfire Headphase by The Bores of Canada, even the artwork was a pasty remix of Music Has the Right to Children![oh no](/users/3715/63/33/29/smiles/4123417129.gif)

Geri Halliwell's final album came out in 2005.
![Tee Hee](/users/3715/63/33/29/smiles/3462372053.png)
peaking at number 41 with only 5,432 copies sold and charting for only one week on the UK Albums Chart.

Maybe we should have done 1999's Eminem's The Slim Shady LP.

No, his n*pples on the back cover scare me.

Looking at my iTunes, 2005 looks like pretty slim pickings.
I was going to suggest Alex Fergusson's The Castle, but then I noticed it was from 2006.

GZA & DJ Muggs - Grandmasters (Chess themed hip-hop 'supergroup')
Coil - The Ape of Naples (typically boring rubbish from Coil)
Bohren & der Club of Gore - Geisterfaust (great, but impossible to review on the Nu-HotW)
Andrew Liles - Mother Goose's Melody or Sonnets for the Cradle (great, but impossible to review on the Nu-HotW)
Brian Eno - Another Day On Earth (

Oh, yes, I've got Waiting for the Sirens' Call as well.
We just did a NO album though.

It seems to be a load of groups going off a bit, maybe early System of a Down, Superfurry Animals, KMFDM, The Dandy Warhols or dEUS might be interesting, but not by 2005. ![:(](/users/3715/63/33/29/smiles/2184378126.gif)

I've never actually heard a Madonna album other than a greatest Hits thing, How about Confessions on a Dance Floor? It's a bit long at 56:28, but then this was the tymes of too long albums.
Darn you CDs! Darn you to heck!

BTW, I know it'll be awful, but the title "Tissues and Issues" has me salivating with excitement. ![drool](/users/3715/63/33/29/smiles/3009754267.gif)

The one that screams 2005 is Hard-fi's Stars of CCTV, and if that's not damming enough…

I'm going to go through them and say why they should, could or cannot be chosen.
Chemical Brothers - way too long.
Erasure - no, never.
Adrian Belew - possibly (lukewarm reviews though)
LCD Soundsystem - no
Mercury Rev - no
Tori Amos - perhaps
Ocean Colour Scene -![evil2](/users/3715/63/33/29/smiles/364468454.gif)
Queens of the Stone Age - never, never, never
Billy Idol - look at those reviews!
M.I.A. - y'know, I've never listened to any of her albums
Beck - nothing is worth listening to after his first two albums
Fischerspooner - nope
Van der Graaf Generator - too long
The New Pornographers - I like the Newman songs, but then there's that other guy
