Anyway, this is a personal favourite of mine and one I think (hope) will unite all Wendigans of every colour and stripe in a glorious kaleidoscope of 'out-and-proud early '80s-ness.

He did, however, produce the first Alvin Stardust album and wrote most of the songs for it, including its singles. Therefore, I think we can count that as a Peter Shelley album. Excited

It's just occurred to me that Alvin Stardust was named after Ziggy Stardust, which is appropriate, as Ziggy Stardust was based on Vince Taylor, and Alvin Stardust's image was basically identical to that of Vince Taylor.

So if Alvin Stardust was merely a persona, how come there was that letter in Viz 30 years ago about serving Alvin Stardust in a petrol station and seeing that his credit card had ALVIN STARDUST on it?
