It was a surprising, surprisingly well written and planned, well paced and genre-wise a varietal album.
It's a shame they digi-d her vocals so much.
The girl can sing.
I guess we all saw that at the last Glastonbur'.
I think that like many people I disliked simply because of her tongue.
But y'know.
She's kinda transcended all that.
Perhaps we all have Terry Richardson to thank after all.
That's a damning indictment if ever I heard one.
Still, it's a country album.
Respect to her for that.
No Taylor Swift flip-flopping.

It is over.
I felt that was an album that fell between two stools, not being Pop enough to make me
to the max and not being Country enough to grab me by the guts. For me, her real strength is sounding dirty and gritty and she should record an album live in the studio with no production whatsoever.
Now to look back at the thread and see what everyone else made of it.

Next one will be more pop. 
She Is Miley Cyrus is described by Cyrus as "genre-less" and a "mosaic of all the things that [she's] been before." She stated that it would feature elements of pop, hip hop, and alternative music that are commonly associated with her fourth and fifth studio albums Bangerz (2013) and Miley Cyrus & Her Dead Petz (2015), and are in contrast to the country pop sound of Younger Now

Anyway, I'm glad I had a second wind.
In regards modern pop music it benefitted massively by having an identity genre-wise.
I was heartened and gladdened that Ms C remained throughout a Country artist.
I was charmed by her and Dolly Parton dueting and felt that that was a effortless but progressive move.
Dolly, for all of her redneck, hillbilly fans, has never once refused to embrace and acknowledge her enormous and fervid gay fanbase.
So it goes, MC does likewise.
In a country like America that can never be a bad thing.
Miley Cyrus is something of a cultural phenomenon and, instead of just being dead-eyed popstar, I feel she's doing something good on the political frontline.
