It is over.
That was a very odd album that didn't quite seem to know which market it was going for. Overall, I suspect that most of the songs weren't much cop but they managed to sell most of it to me by the strength of their performances.
Now to look back at the thread and see what everybody else made of it.

OK, it was thematically something of a hodgepodge and they flitted arbitrarily about numerous different and, at once, similar and perhaps unoriginal musical genres that it was genuinely hard for the band to cohere and subsequently for the album to establish a credible identity.
But these are nit-picking, churlish points.
For an album with so many longish, rambling songs it was...
Never boring.
I was thoroughly entertained throughout.
Quatre etoiles.
