Like a cross between "Be My Wife" and "What in the World".

Is this Sakka on vocals?
If so, his English is way way too accomplished to be charmingly naïve.

They never had the pounding drum machines, or precision percussion.

It's that synth sound that sounds like when people try to make an embarrassing f*rt noise to break the ice when there's an uncomfortable silence.

Crikey.
That was dull.

Re: YMO – Technodelic (1981)
It is over.
It was a decent album that suffered from too much repetition and a lack of human voices, at times.
Now to look back at the thread and see what everybody else made of it.

Well, that was initially interesting and quite impressive.
The weird and more-than-slightly uncanny Beatles parodic vocals on Track 1 were a genuine head turner.
Unfortunately it lost momentum and, by the second half, had seemingly run out of ideas.
Still, it weren't never bad, but...
BUT!
That Prologue/Epilogue/Prolapse at the end was really weak.
Perhaps I'm jaded.
Yes, I'm jaded.
That kind of gimmick might've worked in the '60s, but, c'mon maaaaaaan...

That's what Churchill said about Sheffield at the beginning of the Cold War.
