Same here I think - there wasn't even any initial overcast like there has been the last few days, instead it was clear even at 4am.

I shall be spending the afternoon drinking wine in a sunkist garden with some of my favourite people.

Mmmm, week off work, done the grass, had a play with the jet wash, watered the birds and fed the plants so time for a nice spiced rum and coke I reckon.

I did a song call-and-response with my Goddaughter whilst she stood in the stinky paddling pool.

We did The Who and Pink Floyd.

I had to think of the songs off the top of my bonce.

I think we did...

"Love Reign O'er Me" and "The Real Me" and then...

"See Emily Play"

And then...

"Comfortably Numb".


At that moment, with the amount of wiiiiiiiiiiine in my system at that moment, they were the only ones I could think of at that moment that I thought I could remember the lyrics to/of at that mpoment.

I'm in a new hotel with a nice view of the A12 through the trees. The traffic is flowing freely, and it's another beautiful morning. Though with some cirrus clouds.

I've had to buy a big bag of ice cubes to keep my milk cold in the hotel, just like in the olden days.
