I can't remember anything from before this song now, but is this a bit like Sanatana without the groove?

I bet they played this for 30 minutes live.
And that was just the drum solo.

I quite liked that hard cut ending, I guess that was a fault on the upload to be honest.

It is over.
That record carried all the menace and threat of a Wombles album.
Now to look back at the thread and see what everybody else made of it.

I still liked the cheesy Come to the Sabbat, but the rest was v. period, and that Ronnie Hazlehurst interlude, :disgust:

That was quite profoundly awful.
But in a good way.
Not really, it was just awful.
Still, I found it charming in a completely over-informed, postmodern sense as to its underinformed and crashingly, naffingly gauche self belief.
It cannot be hated or despised.
Despite probably deserving to be.
I mean, where would be without it?
Slayer or Burzum could never’d’ve happened for a start!

Re: Black Widow - Sacrifice 1970
Was there a good reason we started this at 7:30 not 7pm?

I bet if they'd have put a bit of distortion on the guitar it would have been a cult metal classic.
