It is over.
It was OK and had plenty of vigour but was too relentlessly stripped-down for my liking.
Now to look back at the thread and see what everybody else made of it.

Something like Blacks' Magic is a lot phatter sounding.

Yes, but...
That track was an actual riff on/cover version of "La Di Da Di".

Sorry, I only got it into Slick Rick with Treat Her Like a Prositute, and at the stage, who wants to listen to the old stuff, like it sounds so last year, like sooooo dated!

I bought "The Show/La Di Da Di" from Woolworths on Portobello Road when it came out.
I've still got it.

I liked the album way more than I thought I would BTW.
Grittier, more authentic and 'street' than I suspected/feared it might be.
I think you could tell that they got the deal for the album off of the success of 'Push It" and then the rest of the album was made up of stuff they'd recorded in the previous year or so in different studios and locations (gigs etc).

Shout outs to Queens and all that.
Might've been a good double header with Pharaoh Monche.
He is is also from "Cop Killer" Queens.
