It is over.
And the valkyries never arrived.
It was an album that started out promisingly but then got bogged down in dullness, once he abandoned the more bubblegum elements.
Now to look back at the album and see what everybody else made of it.

I have more than a sneaking suspicion that the one that sounded like "Night Boat to Cairo" was indeed Ride of the Valkyries.
