I've just discovered that Thunderclap Newman released more than one record. Here's their Number 46 smash from 1970.

Dear Heather by Leonard Cohen. Seems much better than I remember, less plastic.
Has it been remastered?

I still don't like them, but I definitely prefer their sell out stuff.
It's from 1987, so it being Rush, sounds like it's from '82. They're always 5 years behind the times. Bless.
That's Aimee Mann on Camera apparently.
Which is a name I know, but I don't know a single note of the music.

She did the song that sounded like Nik Kershaw's The Riddle.

The long version of The Sweet's Love Is Like Oxygen. It starts off as Pop-Rock, turns into Prog and then finishes off by going Disco.

I have remembered. The Call of the Wendigo wrote:This reminds me of that song by that bloke about that DJ who got sacked and locked himself in the studio and kept playing records until the police forced their way in and dragged him out of there.
What was that called and who was it by?
It was Rex Bob Lowenstein by Mark Germino.

Actually, that song's quite clever because the tune's clearly modelled on I Fought the Law and the Law Won and it's about a DJ defying authority.

I've just remembered that song, that *another* one reminded me of!
Shame I can't remember which one it was that it reminded me of.
