He gave me the same look I gave my grand-père in 1989 when he complained because they didn't make betamax tapes anymore.
Did he give you a blank look?

I found a Taape! An album of assorted post/math/space rockers from 1999 that came free with a forgotten fanzine, remember them?
I've brilliant rigged it up so I can't hear it only record onto my computer then listen back to it, I wonder what it sounds like?

It sounds like the sort of thing that would be intended to sound like that.

I've been experimenting, I found another 2 taapes*, it just ran the first half of a C60 at 31 minutes 10 seconds, the rewind and Fast foward need a bit of help, but it seems to be running at the right speed without too much wobble!
Unless it's playing Jah Wobble,
Still can't find my tapes I wanted to digitise though,
* This was one of them:

I was going to, but I prefer C90 so you can get an album on both sides.

I bought some metal tapes in 2002 to tape the repeat of Lord of the Rings on Radio 4. A good investment I think. Though I have long since WAVised them naturally.

Put on eBay, you'll get at least a fiver each.

They've got 'em in Tescos too. I know because I went in on the off-chance they'd have CD-Rs, and I saw that not only did they have CD-Rs, they had blank tapes too.

TDK!
Oh, not any more.

TDK were always my preferred choice of tape.
