Why do they have to make everything unnecessarily complicated. It's a fl*pping time tunnel, they could meet the actual Nero instead.

Yeah, but that's Star Wars, so it's different.

Also, although Grand M*ff Tarkin is a ruthless, heartless monster, he still has an air of the suave, debonair and ironic faux-geniality.

ToE is an Hammer fillum - ergo, PC should be all nice - or at least seemingly so.

His character in ToE is, on the other hand, a cold, poe-faced, oppressively religious-zealot and murderous misogynist, without even a shred of irony or nuance.

I find it a depressing film.

Not even the Collinson Twins getting their b*ps out and that oleaginous, swarthy Draclia-type bloke can save it. sad yes
