It is over.

Apart from three tracks, it was quite uninteresting. She should've made albums that sounded like ABBA instead. She would've been perfect for a thing like that.

Now to look back at the thread and see what everybody else made of it. Excited

I actually have this album on CD (along with other Matt Bianco stuff) - another I've never really gotten into. I will try and remember to dig it out at some time and vote. box

Well, I've listened to this album again and it still doesn't exactly excite me overall, though it's a pleasant listen. It's a bit too samba/bossa nova-y at times for my liking, though there are plenty of 80s-tastic moments to keep me interested. My CD version includes a bonus 11th track which it looks like you didn't get to hear - "Forgive and Forget" - which I'd prefer to forget as it's a dull, bluesy-jazz number, the worst on the album.

I can see those similarities with Swing Out Sister (I prefer their album that we recently listened to), Shakatak and even the female half of ABBA vocal wise.
