Re: Maria McKee - Peddlin' Dreams (2005).
It is over.
I felt it was an album that had several good songs on it and it was strangely pleasing to hear an artist express disillusion with how their career had failed to take off but, overall, it lacked her usual energy, and it was a mistake to let others contribute to the song-writing.
Now to look back at the thread and see what everybody else made of it.

That was OK y'knerr...
One or two anonymous numbers, one certified duffer, several very decent tunes (perhaps hindered by the conspicuously ripped-off Neil guitar solos) and then, right at the end, two very well executed and enjoyable covers to bring a shimmer of style and playfulness to the whole affair.

On that track, I'm certain it was her. I'd recognise that style anywhere.Nightjar wrote:Is it her husband playing the this lead guitar stuff?

Apparently he was the bass player and a film maker.

That's right. They've made a couple of films together.

There's a soundtrack album for their first film.
