I’m not sure ‘refreshing’ is the word for Holly Valance. Unless on a hot day you’d see a stream and, thinking it was pure water, end up sipping sewage and say ‘how refreshing’.

Janet Jackson "cancelled" by all the (other) gays due to her negative comments about Kamala Harris in an interview. Her supposed manager puts out a now retracted apology on her behalf. I have seen absolute meltdown from her fans, claiming that Janet is a "MAGA" Trump fan, some in tears.

She got it wrong. ‘She became black’ is a MAGA talking point. If you don’t ’watch the news’ then fair enough - don’t watch it, but don’t try the ‘I heard…’ nonsense. It takes less than a minute to google image pictures of Kamala’s parents.

*Used to simply be called consequences until the far right decided they should get away with saying/doing anything, and came up with a new more loaded term to make it look as if they are victimised. No, just old fashioned consequences - this fool needs to go back to school because she was talking b*ll*cks, so got told have a seat and close her damn mouth.

I think Janet likely lives in a bubble. While Madonna was threatening to "blow up the White House" Janet probably didn't even know what was going on. That's quite niche for a celebrity in this day and age.

I am enjoying the fallout from the Janet "stans" though. There's nothing worse than hysterical Madonna/Janet/Mariah/Britney/Lady Wotsit fans. I even had to leave a Tina Turner forum years ago as they were all so annoying and bitchy - to each other and about everything they didn't like, always falling out over something trivial. Basically RuPaul's Drag Race contestants on a forum.

Be glad. Actually, the first few serieses were... interestingly entertaining and I've always liked RuPaul. But it is just too mainstream now since the BBC put their stamp all over it, turning it from late night entertainment into a Gen Z tea time romp.
